Meet Antoine Marshall
Antoine Marshall is an accomplished attorney, public speaker, and political commentator known for his insightful perspectives and ability to engage diverse audiences.
Antoine got his feet wet in politics as a student at Claflin University when he completed two internships on Capitol Hill in the offices of Congressman James Clyburn and Congresswoman Donna Christensen. It was through those experiences Antoine learned the transformative impact that politics and policy could have on community change.
Antoine received his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University, and began his career as a licensed attorney working for Legal Aid of North Carolina where he became acquainted with the problems of low income North Carolinians and their challenges to achieve the American Dream.
Over his career, Antoine has worked with the South Carolina Legislative Black Caucus, North Carolina State Legislature, and on the campaigns for candidates at the national, statewide, and local level. He previously served as the 3rd Vice Chair of the Wake County Democratic Party, Vice President of the African-American Caucus of the Wake County Democratic Party, and on the board for the Democratic Men of Wake County. He currently serves as Vice President of the Southeast Raleigh Community Development Corporation, and sits on the board of the City of Raleigh Community Engagement Board, City of Oaks Foundation, and Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School Advisory Board
